The inspiration for this art piece came from the children in the art class I teach. A lot of the time, kids are so excited to be creative that they can't be bothered to color in the lines! They just want to have fun and make something. It's easy to forget that art is supposed to be fun. I tried to keep this mindset while creating this piece by letting myself scribble and create what felt good to me! "All things grow" is a quote from one of my favorite songs, "Chicago" by Sufjan Stevens. I have the pleasure of watching the kids I teach grow into incredible little humans. I want to remind myself (and you!) that everyone is growing constantly, and that's okay! :)
