Youth Classes
NO MATERIALS REQUIRED: we provide everything!
Drawing and Painting - BEG
(ages 5-9)
Tuesdays 4-5:15 pm
In this course, students will explore the visual arts and learn the value of self-expression. The projects and exercises help students gain an understanding of the elements and principles of art. Students will be introduced to several two-dimensional mediums of art including drawing, acrylic painting, and watercolor painting. No experience needed, all levels welcome!
Advanced Drawing and Painting
(ages 12-17)
Mondays 5:30-7 pm
In this course, students will explore the visual arts and learn the value of self-expression. The projects and exercises help students build on their understanding of the elements and principles of art while practicing drawing, acrylic painting, and watercolor painting. Students will be challenged to curate their personal voices as artists and apply art mediums in new and exciting ways! This course is perfect for students who have taken Intro to Drawing and Painting and want to further their skills even more, although previous experience in my classes is not required.
Homeschool Drawing & Painting - ALL LEVELS
(ages 5-9)

Homeschool Drawing and Painting - All Levels is an excellent art program offering an expansion of artistic knowledge and skill while allowing children to work alongside their peers. This class will teach elements of art, composition, and components of art history.
Drawing and Painting - INT
(ages 8-12)

Intro to Mixed Media Art
(ages 5-9 )
Mondays & Thursdays 4-5:15 pm
Cutting and pasting, drawing and painting, watercolor and inking, tearing and collaging--the possibilities are endless. In this class, we will explore combining different mediums of art together in our pieces. Students will explore the visual arts and learn the value of self-expression through many mediums. The projects and exercises will build students' understanding of the elements of art (color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value) and the principles of art (balance, emphasis, harmony, movement, pattern, proportion, repetition, rhythm, unity, and variety). Students will be introduced to a range of materials and mixed media techniques such as collage, watercolor, tissue paper work, paper sculpture, and so much more! The purpose of this class will be to learn, explore, and have fun! No art experience necessary, all levels welcome!
Homeschool Drawing & Painting - ALL LEVELS

Welcome to Homeschool Drawing and Painting - All Levels, where creativity knows no bounds! This fantastical art adventure will not only sprinkle your child's artistic skills with magic dust but also introduce them to a lively bunch of fellow young artists. Together, they'll explore the enchanting elements of art, discover the secrets of composition, and unravel the mysteries of art history. Join us for a vibrant journey through the world of colors and creativity!

The perfect art class for complete beginners! In this course, students will explore the exciting medium of watercolor, learn the value of self-expression, and most of all, have fun! The projects and exercises will also help you build a basic understanding of the elements and principles of art. By focusing only on the medium of watercolor, students will learn the ins and outs of this type of painting on a deeper level. We will practice various watercolor techniques including but not limited to: washes, blending, layering, dry brush, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, crayon resist, gradation, splatter, and more! No experience at all necessary, come as you are and leave with some awesome paintings!

Watercolor 102
Friday 12 pm - 3:00 pm
The perfect class to continue your watercolor journey! If you’re looking for the next step after my Watercolor 101 class, you’re in the right place. In this course, students will continue exploring the exciting medium of watercolor, deepen their understanding of self-expression, and most of all, have fun! We will learn new techniques and build on various topics from Watercolor 101 including but not limited to: still life, landscape, abstract, portraits, nature, etc. Students will be challenged to curate their voices as artists, find their personal art style, and apply watercolor in new and exciting ways. Prereq: Watercolor 101.
